Default Easter Saturday - Sea fishing Trip - Sat 11th April

All aboard the DAWNBREAKER 3 500hp Sea Cat with top skipper Rob Wilks @ the helm

DAWNBREAKER III CHARTERS: Thames Estuary Charters. Sea fishing from North Fambridge in Essex.

This boat is simply awesome , Easily fishes 8 persons with lots of room , We try & limit the number to 8 persons fishing per trip , But if there is the demand im sure we can suffer 10 fishing each trip

The cost of each trip varies but has never exceeded £50 Per person per trip , This is for a 12 hour day fishing & all your tackle & bait included & as much tea & coffee as you can drink

Default Dawnbreaker report - Easter Saturday ..

Well yes the time had come again to get out with Rob on Dawnbreaker , We met @ the yacht haven @ 6.30am for a lovely full English breakfast before heading out .

All on the boat by 7am , up until this time it had been raining early AM & continued to drizzle , but as we headed out of the river the Sky's started to clear , the sea was like a lake so still & calm & now with blue Sky's above & sunshine

Rob takes us out to one of his favored marks , And as normal we are straight onto the fish

Never known such a trip when we caught so many species of fish , We had over 20 roker to 16llb , couple of cod , smooth hounds , whiting , doggies (Argghh) & a bass

Preferred bait seemed to be herring , with squid also working well as well .

We sat out in the sun all day long & all returned with a nice suntan & a nice selection of fish, even with a nice majority being released to fight another day

Must give a special mention to Rob & his crewman Kevin , These guys were great , As some of you guys may have read on here I'm relatively new to this boat fishing along with a few of my family & friends who are having ago , so we are novices really , but nothing was to much trouble for Rob or Kev , helping a few of the newbies casting out , un hooking fish , netting the fish , supplying the tea & coffee all day long these guys worked tirelessly ensuring that everyone on board had a great trip .

I Had a better day than a few of the more experienced anglers on board , ( I do watch & learn & listen to the advice the experienced anglers & the skipper who is always on hand to offer advice )

I Was well & truly over the moon to land this rather nice 16llb roker ( My PB By a mile ) , though i must treat myself to a better reel in time for my next trip

A great day with great company , roll on our next outing on Dawnbreaker

Could you take Ark next time - he'd make excellent bait!!
