Brands Track Day pics............
Batch #1, a selection from the 1100 shots I took before lunch.
In no particular order.....
I'll go through the rest tomorrow and then post some more.

Brian- great pics yet again, much better light this time around at Brands.
Whats the new camera? The wife just bought a D300 so I'm hoping to nick it and have a play real soon.
Nice one, I'm sure everyone appreciates you having taken the shots.

Have only just got round to looking at this thread - as always Brian, great pictures - the new camera gets you pretty close to the action.... hope you've got plenty of memory cards if you carry on taking that many pictures!
I think you will use your DSLR way more than I use mine - don't think I've taken mine out of it's bag since way before Xmas - still don't know what 75% of the buttons/functions on it do!

As for memory cards, got an 8gb that holds 2,400 pics, but also got a 16gb in the bag. so that's enough for over 7,000 photo's. Should last me a weekend away.
Yep, far too many buttons. Bought a flash gun a little while ago and that's got about 10 more buttons on it.

Brian,
Get some smaller memory cards as well - the big ones are OK to have but you must always remember that those cards can fail.... and if they do with the images on them, you've lost the lot......
I use 2gb mainly and swop over frequently (it's a 5 second job), so if a card (and/or) the camera goes wonky, then I have some images at least.
I have a number of 1gb that I keep as standy by's and a 4gb as and when I will need it, but TBH, I've never really needed to use that, even when taking shots at the highest resolution...........
Always remember that cards fail when you least want them to...... sod's law is applied......
