There has been a few over the years, usually at Engine Advantages in Witham.

Although the last one was a bit of a disaster (especially for Simon57) his engine went bang on the rollers and then screwed the readings and traction of the RR.

Always a good laugh and interesting to see the figures even if just for a bit a banter as it's an opinion that who cares about figures as long as the car drives how you like.

If it were me, I would rather have a road dyno done for ATWheels power, and discuss what power mods could be done to improve on what's already there. If you use Mocom for this the Engine Advantages RR always reads 16% above the ATW figure for the RR Bhp. Rolling Road days are fun but you won't ever see my car on one again !

If one is organised there will always be people who will run, and many will just turn up to watch. As I said always a good laugh

Yeah they've been good days and we haven't had one blow up yet (finds a bit of wood to touch ), have a word with TDi as they did the last one for free as long as people donated some money to charity on the day

I had Zak in my car with the laptop when I ran the Spec D and the charge temps were pretty flippin alarming ! He only let them do one run for safety sake. Glad I did it once for the experience, but unless it gets rigged up properly to monitor temps etc, I would always be concerned tbh.
