Matt,
What would you recommend for mine - Dark metallic blue, need to get some wax as my meguiars has run out
Unless you want to sort a kit out with wax instead of polishes as I could do with some applicators and metal polish

I can do you the kit with the poorboys tyre shine in it with the natty's blue and and a top coat instead of the polish and mothers wax if you like? The top coat is superb for layering with wax. Gives a very long lasting protection. And the good thing is you can layer this one over and under waxes without it effecting it. I'm not aware of another top layer product on the market that can go over waxes each and every time without causing milking of the wax. A few combo layers can see a good few months worth of protection after being built up.

Moving up from these I'd go to the Dodo Juice range of waxes at around £30 a tub. up from that is the Dodo Supernatural at about £65 in a plastic tub or you can pay £90 for a tub in a flash wooden pot. if you prefer liquid waxes then the werkstatt range for about £45 for the kit is superb.
After that you really need to spend a couple of hundred on wax to get any better. You can pay into the thousands. Let me know a rough budget and I'll recommend you some products.

have yo ugot a wrx or sti? if wrx i'd recommend either poorboys apc or meguiars apc. follow the dilution instructions. spray on and use a nail brush to agitate then with a clean damp clothwipe over until all apc has been removed and the repeat as needed. hoover once fully dry.
if sti you'll need to be very carefull with the alcantarra inserts on the seats. i wouldn't get these wet with anything. gently brush with a soft brush and hoover at the same time. keep going until it's clean. of course the "normal" material parts of the seats can be cleaned with apc as above.
