Essex Fm ~ Martin & Sue breakfast show ...
Anyone shed any light as to why they have been taken off air ?
Listen to there show most morning's from 5-30 till 7am , They were not on air today & had Dom standing in ..
Did here a broadcast that they had been suspended whilst under investigation as to comments that they made on there show on Friday
Just curios as to what they said

Been trying to find out myself.
Not confirmed, but a couple of people are saying that it was a discussion about teaching sex education to scouts and Martin saying "Dib dib dib, dob dob dob, stick a condom on your......" Didn't hear it, myself, and not sure if he finished the line or not. But agree with Frayz the replacements, Harvey & Lou, were sh!te!!!
Let's hope somebody sees sense and gets them back on air!

was just about to post the same thing, have been searching for the last half hour to find out what happened.
2 opinions:
1) it was the scout/brownie joke
2) it's just a publicity stunt
would have thought if it was 1 then there would have been something in the local rag (echo) tonight.

you can listen to the podcast from fri but not sure if they wld delete what they have been removed for

Like reading some of the comments on this thread , I Do like there show but as soon as i get closer to the city Heart 106.2 Gets tuned in
Essex is ok & Sue sounds well Horny
, With a wicked dirty laugh But check out the website it's a bit of a munter 
I Also get fed up with her constantly mentioning her daughter Lilly & her au pair

The annoying thing with Martin and Su is that everyday is exactly the same,he will say 1 thing and she will say the opposite and they will argue for the duration of the show on a daily basis .To me that is CR*P radio .

Have to admit I used to listen to Day (before he got the bint working with him) but he was boring me to death then and that was before he got stuck up his own ars.....
I got totally pissed off with him and switched to Heart and never looked back, still listen to Heart now..... Every now and then I make the mistake of accidentally tuning into Essex FM when they are on and after a couple of minites, I switch them off!
If he's been taken off the air - keep him off as far as am concerned....
Just my own opinion of course as I see that some on here actually like him.....

I'm still in "mourning" after bam bam and street boy got kicked off Kiss FM - total outrage
I normally listen to martin & sue when doing the school run etc - and I did hear the thing on Friday about the boy scouts - dib dib dib etc - thought it was amusing but very near the mark.
Kids are on half term now so haven't been out in the car to listen in the mornings - hope they come back soon as I think their funny - certainly make the chav run more interesting LOL
