Default THANKS

Well the TA season is over... It's been a long season with the last race a week ago.

I need to say a few thank you's!

Darren - ABW
Darren thanks for making the car looks the nuts!!! It attracted so much attention at all the public events. Everyone taking pics. it definitely had an impact.

Alyn - A S Performance
Alyn has been extremely helpful through the year, helping me to source parts. He literally can provide anything and it's nearly always next day delivery! He also has so much advice to offer too, so he always makes sure you get the right product for your needs!

Polybush
They provided a full set of bushes, which quite hoinestly helped to transform the handling. the turn in was awesome. they never went off under pressure or abuse. A great upgrade for track handling!

Steve - Spec 'C' 57
Steve thanks for the couple of visits out to sort my trailer. It was great having your help to keep me rolling!

Frayz
Thanks for building my new heads. And your mamouth hours to help get the engine built this year! You do awesome work!

Zak & Luke - Mocom
Thank you fro getting my engine built halfway through the year. That was an incredible turn around!

Simon - Jolly Greenn Monster
Simon thanks for your help in getting my Simtek running sweet and pulling like a train!

The ESC
Thanks to all of you for your support and kind words through out the year. It was great to have the support and really helped to push me on! (many times i would have given up this year)

Neil - YVM
Neil, i owe you the biggest thanks. you've been there all the way offering support and advice. You've been there att all but one event, helping to get the car set up, driving the car to the events and generaly getting me and the car ready. i really couldn't have done it without you!

I guess it just goes to show that TEAM ESC, really is a TEAM effort.
I'm sorry we didn't get a better result... I can't believe all the silly issues i've had all season that have just held me back. Not to mention that the class structure this year in TA was not best geared to a genuine Club car.

Welcome Mike.

I know you have it in you to produce better results. Just so happens luck was not on your side on some occasions.

Thats racing mate, but your efforts and dedication never went unnoticed.

Very very well done on some stunning results.

SORRY MARK!!!!

OF COURSE I SHOULDN'T HAVE FORGOTTEN.......

Mark - RB5 286
An awesome graphics set up... The look and design was down to Mark and he spent a lot of time setting up and correcting the design till we had an agreement with all sponsors and myself.
Mark you truly are the graphics GURU!

Tiny
Thankyou for all the time you have spent doing the national lottery fundraising... I know it ended yp being a real pain in the neck for you. It was a fantastic idea and a great effort and commitment from your side...
Not to forget also your double act with Mark fitting the graphics in the freezing cold....

I appologise to you both for missing you off the earlier thanks...

If things had gone right, then i'm sure i could have performed better...
But i got very dispondent towards the end...

So sadly i think my track days over...
There are so many considerations to take into account with a season of racing like this. And sadly this year a few of those plans broke down. Not to mention the fact that i worked overseas for the whole year.
For those reasons the car will be going up for sale, either as a whole or as uprade parts for someone elses build.

If not in the scoob and Time Attack, i'm sure it won't be the last time you are out on track or competing!

Or maybe next time you can biatch for me!

Re: Thanks

No problem Mike, I still enjoyed this years TA exploits, though obviously it could have been better. Certainly some things disappointed, and we are left with a lot of what ifs, but that to a large extent is racing.
It was good to be back in and around the paddock, been years since I was last involved and has certainly got me wanting to continue being involved, though maybe in a different capacity next time.

It was nerve racking for watching, with you and tiny applying and ripping off teh graphics till you were happy.... all that in very cold conditions....
To think i had thought i could apply them on my own!

It will... a lot of time and money has gone into developing the car...

Don't worry we'll see what happens and if there's no interest, then there will be some great upgrades going...

Mike, well done on your season despite the ups and downs, i know what its like. It's been a pleasure competing against you all year, and as a true gent on track, you highlight what Time Attack was about.

All the best

Well done for all your efforts over the past couple of seasons Mike, and for putting up with me sticking my camera in your face, in the pits, every 5 minutes.

But dont give up hope just yet, I was talking to Jimlad at the Lodge last week, and he was talking about a new race series he'd read about that will just be for early classic Impreza's. (thought it was in Jap performance, but couldn't find it in there ) Perfect for your car.

Maybe worth looking into.

Hopefully Jim can give some more details.
