And some other mods, before going launch control route.

You are probably still running a TD04 turbo ...... Get that changed, some decent injectors (STi pinks for example), fuel pressure reg, uprated fuel pump and an STi top mount intercooler.

And then a remap

then you could do with changing from those standard brakes and wheels .....

Shall I stop now ?

You only really need launch control if sprinting or doing drags is your thing.

Id strongly recommend a twin plate aswell seen as though the standard won't last too long with it.

Its very harsh on the transmission too.

As per OP

Launch control is mapped in, it sets your revs to an agreed amount, normally 5k, you floor the gas and will not go over that set amoutn of revs, you then get the biting point and away you go, on strokered cars the torque pull is amazing, last week in my mates 550hp Evo 5 rs it made my mind go blurry...lol.. when he set off, the pull was that strong.

You ideally need uprated stuff to cope with the stress on transmission and clutch, gearbox if you are going to do it regualry, im having it set up on mine, wher eit will be launched a good few times durng a days sprinting, hence, the twin plate clutch, but nothing lasts forever.

If used sparingly, it should probably be ok.
