Default Another thanks Mocom thread

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Zak & Luke.

Spent all day yesterday over at Mocom whilst Luke fitted mt Perrin front and rear Anti Roll Bars, Solid drop links, Sub Frame Lockdown Kit & 3" Hayward & Scott Turbo back exhaust.

Zak took care of the mapping, and the car now pulls from much lower in the rev range, all the way to the Redline without any noticeable drop off.

The cornering is a whole lot better as well, hardly any body roll, enabling you to carry a lot more speed both in and out of corners/roundabouts.

More great service from Mocom, which we've all come to expect.

Oh and Nice meeting u Dave as well

Thanks Dave, made quite a fun trip popping and banging down the A12. Noticed people never followed quite so close behind

Hi Boyd,

Did you get your top mounts sorted as well?

I picked mine up on Monday so just missed you.

Where did you go during the mapping? Just up and down the A414? On Monday we went up to the A120 for more space... which was fun

Hey Ross

Nope M8 still waiting on the Top mounts. Car feels so much better with the Perrin stuff on it's kinda made the KWs wait more worthwhile, be interesting to see what it's like once they have been done

Zak headed out on his own this time for the mapping, was only a couple of hours this time, i'm guessing it was just up & down the 414

Pity i missed u M8 it'd of been good to see u and the car

Guess your drive home was "Interesting"

Shame re the mounts but at least you've got the Perrin stuff on. Once your KW's are sorted and geo done, the car will feel superb.

Maybe next time... ... Zak is seeing if he can get me the APS 3.5" system.

Lol... interesting is one word.. scary is closer!

I almost bought one of them second hand from a bloke on here M8. Had a big old dent in the backbox but he went quiet on the deal. Pity, pretty much a future proof system mods wise. How noisy that would be

Glad the Type R is back to it's best M8

I'm hoping it won't be that loud... ... otherwise my neighbours won't forgive me.

All the best
