Default TYPE R for SALE! ** Price Reduced **

Hi All,

I still have my Type R up for sale. I have dropped the price as I need it sold quickly. I am open to offers, so if you want a chat, please PM me or email me at emmakbarrett@hotmail.co.uk
Details of the car:

It is a 1998 Subaru Impreza STi Type R, and was imported in 2006. I bought this directly from the importer, unregistered, and went through the process of having it SVA'd etc ready for the road. It was finally ready for the road in August 2007, and has been a dream to own!
This car is COMPLETELY standard, and it so quiet compared to the normal Subaru Burble you'd hear from most. The only things that I have 'up-graded' on this car are the following:

New 18' Alloys - fitted in March 2008 with brand new tyres.
New Kenwood Bluetooth Double Din Headunit, with new front speakers and hidden 6x9's on the rear shelf - fitter in March 2008.
Forge Dumpe Valve - Fitted in July 2007.
Black Crystal Headlights/Sidelights & Indicators.

I also had STi Colin McRae Special Edition interior fitted, which are protected with covers!
It has a Cat 1 Complete Closer Alarm/Immobiliser.
It has done approx. 65000 miles, and was serviced at the end of 2007, which included all fluids/filters, Cambelt, and rear brakes.
The car has 6 months tax and 1 years MOT, which both began 1/8/08. I have lots of receipts for all work I have had done on this car.
Unfortunately, it was slightly keyed a little while ago (passenger rear 1/4, very slightly on the passenger door, and a 5 inch scratch on the bonnet) I have had these professionally touched up and polished, which has improved them immensely, but would need a spray over to rid of them completely. It also has a small (5p size) chip on the front splitter, but again I have been told this is completely repairable.

It has th changebale diff and intercooler spray and is a dream to own. It has never been raced, tracked or 1/4 miled. I am the ONLY UK owner!

I am looking for £7249 ono.

Some pictures:

Yes, J200 EMS will go on the bike, as LIPPY one is too good to spend most of its time on a bike that will be mostly in the garage due to the great british weather!!!!

Well, I have decided, I have put it on Autotrader for a 2 wk deal, so if it hasn't gone within 2 wks, it'll be staying, and I'll be getting the small little imperfections sorted out.

tbh as far as trade ins go that's not a bad price. all they'll be looking at (depending on the dealer of course - if jap performance car dealers or run of the mill car dealers) will see an r plate 3 door saloon.

as you say see if it goes in 2 weeks with it on at and if not keep it. was saying to the guys last night at hwh, i'm not letting mine go for pennies. tax is up the end of the month so it'll stay there until it sells for a price i'm happy to get for it. damn labour gavernment ballsing things up as usual

Can honestly say this is a very nice car. I took it our for a test drive not so long ago but have ended up with a version 3 type r only because it was cheaper. Lovely car though. Good luck with the sale and maybe see you amongst the madness of the tunnel run as Tracey and I will be there.
