I offered to print it foc (own copy shop!)
although revenue could be gained from ads.
However someone would have to write it

yup need to get going on the committee. have been more than a little down with the esc and sidc of late. however i do still want to go ahead with the day. how about all those who put forward for the committe hold a small meeting at the lodge this month?

yes i've given up the newsletter. i got pi$$sed off with not being given anything to put in it. i don't have the time to write up loads of reviews when noboday can be bothered to give me anything to put in it.

when i took it over from baz and diane everyone was giving me so many reviews it was hard to fit them all in. now, nothing. i'm not going to waste my time chasing for input in nobody is going to give me anything to put in it. by all means i'll put together a paper copy of the what's on and as george has said he has kindly offered to print if for us in return for a small advert. but tbh i'd rather someone else done it. it's a pretty much thankless task. each month people moan if there's not a lot in it if anything at all. yeat nobody comes forward with anything.

i think it's more a case of people always asume others will be there to do something towards it rather than offering themselves.

has anyone offered a review of the mcrae gathering? have they funk! i shouldn;t have to chase for input as it's everyones newsletter not just mine.

1) a beer
2) some food
3) proposed date
4) aim of the day ( charities to benefit etc)
5) brain storming session as to what to have at the event
6) try to pin down the top 10 events out of brainstorming.

this should be plenty for the first meeting.

don't even suggest for a minute that i underestimated what the newsletter would take. because i didn't. i'll tell you what, you do the newsletter, in full, each month with no other input.

might be a problem there. my pm's seem to be burgered at the minute. there's room in the inbox but i keep getting message saying it's full. then when i go to reply, nothing.
