Default Wheels Gold To Black??

I currently have gold wheels on my classic 1995, but might paint them black.
Can anyone give me some tips on the best procedure to achieve this?

Cheers.

Scotty.

them wheels are pretty rare fella. v1 sti rims. had them on my first import and sold them for £50! without realising what they were from.

i'd be tempted to leave them as is and get another set of wheels to turn to black.

u will need to use 240 / 320 paper depending on scratches / scuffs then prime then wet sand with 500 then paint after a good clean with panel wipe making sure surface is clean of oils and dust
