Smile Grille question do or do not?

Hi folks,

need a little advise, I am thinking about getting a lower grille for my car, has anybody got any pros and cons or where the best place to get one from.

Thank you in advance and hopefully see some of you soon, still trying to pluck up the courage to come to a meet

Also took some more pics today they are on my profile.

cheers

Rachael

Hi Spally,

thank you for your reply, I have a Blob eye STI, I want it to fit in with the look of my car (see pics) but want it to be functional too.

As for the meets.....I have heard that you all bite!

just get yourself a kite, fishing rod, and some golf clubs and you'll slot right in.

failing that, use the scooby

Betts made Flat Eric's grille

Basically, Betts made the jig to make Newage WR1 grilles, and I made a jig for Classic grilles, I gave both jigs to ABW, so Dal and Rob may start making them in the future, give him a nudge

I saw these on their stand at Time Attack & they are better quality than the Subaru dealer ones.

He was doing some nice "show prices" as well.

I wonder if they will be at Brands this Sunday?

"Fitment requires no tools as the grille pushes over the existing factory fitted plastic grille and clips, designed specifically for this model, retain the grille to the body work behind the grille. This provides for a secure and safe fitment."

This is my home made jobby. Top by me & the bottom by Betts.

Got my Grille.....check it out in my scooby profile....was a bit of a ball ache though (if I had ***** I would know how this feels...but I guess it's prety achey)

anyway, I ordered the upper and lower ones from scoobyworld they came and had the Zunsport badge on them! on the pics on Scoobyworld no badge, now I know it may be a little **** of me but I didn't want the bloody badge and this baby was welded on...so out came the Dremel and the paint and my hubby managed to fix it

Hopefully see loads of you tomorrow!

cheers

Actually like that.

Much better black than stainless. Always think the stainless ones look too bling. Black looks quite smart.

Ive just come back from jae after speaking to gary at zunsport he will do the upper and lower grille for £150 which he said is a show price but as he hadn't the grille that i wanted on him he would still let me have it at that price till the end of the week. Thats free delivery aswell if theres a few people on here that wants them i could be cheeky and ask for more than just my order, let me no if any of you guys want them and ill find out.
