sod getting on the wrong side of that!!!

When I got my shotgun license, my mum wanted me to train her labrador as a gun dog, until I read up that chocalate labs are the worse to train as they usually do what they want to do, and not what they're supposed to! lol

We have a shepherd too - she's an animal - bloody good at her job - but trained to a VERY high standard - The Mally will eventually take her place (working wise) cause she will have to retire in a couple of eyars - by then Mally will be fully trained

The pup looks a real cutey, but obviously from the video, will grow/be trained into a formidable guard dog.
Do you keep the working dogs at home? Think I would be a bit concerned having a dog that is trained to attack at home with the kids. Though I guess nobody is going to break into your home!

Our dogs are all kept pretty much seperate. The working dogs are kept kennelled at the back of the garden (6ft high kennel plus outter fence) and the pet dogs are slept in the utility room and are allowed in the house when we say so - I have them in with me every night - and then when I go to bed they get put out - and maybe one will stay in. The Shepherd is NEVER around my kids - nor me for that matter, i wouldn't even feed her, she has one owner and one master and thats not me!
The kids are fantastic, they know the difference in the dogs and why they are the way they are - on the other hand the pet dogs are their bestest pals
