That 2nd one doesn't look well cared for. Good ones will still make a higher price though.

I thought they'd be worth a lot less, Mk2 Escort RS are desirable classics.
These on the other hand are just old escorts

all ford rs are desirable. about 10 years ago the rs1600i was going for more than series 1 and 2. but yest the mk1 and mk2 escort rs are the most desireable.

I'm surprised that these are still about.

I had a black RS1600i in 1988, handled well but no quicker than a XR3i.

Also the first car I span at Brands, down paddock hill, over the concrete run off!

there's not many about. i really want a caspian blue or black. they way the economic climate is at the moment, i was thinking about chopping the impreza in for something that will still be fun but cheaper to run.

wouldn;t be same speed as a 3i for long. have an 1800 zetec bottom end sat in the garden and a set of twin 45's would go on

should i really be going on track at brands if you spun a fwd 1600cc down paddock

I was young and foolish, and couldn't see why paddock could not be taken flat, with the correct line! Obviously i was wrong

You will be fine in the scoob, just remember to build the speed gradually

can't see me taking paddock at much over 50

yeah going to take it easy as i will have the team-esc driver in the car giving me pointers. apart from that i'll have a very dangerous level of 0.7 bar of boost to cope with . although hoping to have the walbro, fpr and dawes on by then. hopfully giving a bit more.
