A few things that worry me:

1.6 bar is that a safe amount to run - could be boosting a lot higher?

Spoke to the owner and he says there is nothing like a hand controller unit in there (power fc commander was what I was trying to get at) What other ways are there to map a 97 Sti?

VF30 turbo - Would this need to remapped when fitted to the car?

Would the gearbox be able to handle 355bhp? Hasn't given a torque figure, and he's also lost the dyno printout.

Presuming there standard sti injectors would they be ok for this power?

A lot to go through I know, but thought some of you guys may know the history as the car is local.

What local tuning company ? would tell you whether its worth the bother tbh.

I could be wrong, but it looks like there's a Turbo Smart manual boost controller by the right hand I/C pipe work, also around MY'97 cars, there's the question of the remap (Some models can't be remapped) so alarm bells are ringing
