think my boost solenoid is dead! it is ticking at about 1500 revs. think it is solenoid anyway. its on the right hand suspensoin turret. car is 96 type r. was running 1.5 bar now 1.2 would this cause this? cheers in advance

sounds like it needs a clean, try spraying some aerosol brake cleaner into the pipe going into the solenoid, always done the trick on my old scoob and numerous others

cheers was going to try that but wasn't sure it was ok. really annoying as it just started after the poser's cruise. wierd that i can here it more in the car with the windows up than under the bonnet.
