Angry MY FLATS FLOODED!

Been up since 3:40am trying to box and clear stuff up.
Thanks to the Chuckle Brothers Building Company my flat is trashed with water damage.

If anyone knows of a flat/house for rent in the Southend area please pm me

Beneath me the office ceilings have collapsed and apparently the Builder pumped out over 300 gallons

My Bank Holiday is now going to consist of packing more boxes

Lol too true Nate
I've started a list of the stuff damaged and TBH I'm shocked at how much is trashed. I've taken photos as well. The Builder has already stated it's going to be a "blame game" i.e. The Landlord will blame the builder and the builder is going to blame the architect etc. etc.

So I dont think this is going to be settled quickly. I'm going to stay at my Ex-Wifes tonight just in case anything else happens as there's been a severe weather warning. I dont fancy being here if it all collapses thats for sure.

Lets hope the weather is kind and rains elsewhere and not in Westcliff

I did think of putting a doorway in

Fortunately most of the stuff that needed to be moved has been. A mate of mine has offered me his spare room so at least I have a (dry ) roof over my head.

Me too lol

Landlord and I had a chat today
He now understands that I'm a tad non-plussed and will need to be compensated in 1000s for my losses and re-housed at his expense.
After a wee bit of discussion he now understands and seems quite willing to be helpful

Indeed the Weasel has has already started that little game but when I mentioned the fact that a canopy would have prevented all this he suddenly became more helpful

Good news
I viewed a lovely flat today and assuming all goes well on Monday I should be able to get the keys by the end of the week

I shall be relocating to Thorpe Bay. Thought I might give Rob a ring and invite him round for a coffee
