Default meets?

hi just wandering if there are any meets around essex? i live in braintree but i have recently moved down from Crawley Sussex so was just enquiring about meets i.e , where/when/how many times a month etc.

also i have a MY00 turbo 2000 and have a decat down pipe that i want to fit, i have been told i will need it mapped if i want to fit it.
does anyone know of any reputable people in the essex area that could do this for me. i dont want crazy bhp just want it setup to run "without cats"

cheers!!

Regular meets are 3x a month bud,

1st Sat is the ESC posers cruise, Basildon to Southend
2nd Thurs is the Halfway house meet, Large pub on the A127
3rd Thurs is the Lodge meet, big family style pub/inn based in South Woodham Ferrers.

As fo your Decat pipe, yes you will need it mapped or at very least a det/fueling check.

Speak to Zak @ Mocom Racing based in North Weald

3rd Thurs at the Lodge is TONIGHT!

Check with Mocom, but untill recently Zak could not map the facelift 99/00 classic, needs to be Ecutek mapped.

cool, cant make it to this one as i'm working night shift

glad you like the car, its changed a bit since that pic, i've now got 17" white rota tarmacs fitted, and a scoobyworld afterburner vortex back box + decat centre (also got decat downpipe but awaiting a remap before i fit!).

got to say that the afterburner vortex sounds awesome!! she pops too and has a wicked rumble!!! well pleased!!

i'll get some more pics on here asap, look forward to meeting you all at meets!

Hi and welcome - I may well be wrong here (LOL and it wouldn't be the first time ) - but shouldn't the re-map be the last thing you do AFTER doing all the mods? i.e. if you re-map, then change your downpipe - you'll need another map to recognise the further change?? I know that Gooner had quite a few mods done and THEN had the map done - and boy............. what a difference LOL

I think also that Yellowvanman is right - my other half has a 99 classic and needed and ECUtek - speak to Simon @ JollyGreenMonster - feel free to PM me for number etc
