I need........
Right guys n gals, there's some stuff that i need to get and it needs to be cheap, doesn't everything lol. So i wondered if any of you know where to look?
Biot of back ground behind this - I was thinking of selling the ra but i just can't bring myself to do it now. I noticed over on the sidc site that there are show and shine events within the sidc stands at various shows this year. the first one being japfest on the 17th may.
so what i'm now planning on doing is stripping the car as much as i can, giving it a huge tidy up and getting it looking mint. The other plan for the car is at the same time make it more track focused. What i need is some thin aluminium sheeting to make some lightweight doorcards with, maybe 2mm. Carbon doorcards would be lovely but monetry wise they're just not possible. Also need some ra red red cellulose paint so i can respray the interior and underneath of my car, as well as some black for the wheels.
If anyone knows where i can get these at good prices please let me know.
I'll be getting rid of all the underseal and trying to make the underside as nice as the rest of the car. The graphics are going too.
so if you're at a loose end over a weekend or 6 let me know. i'm sure i can detail your car for you in return.
cheers,
matt.

tell me about it, catching the train at the moment and walking 6 miles every day.
2 miles from home to the station, sit on a train for a while. 1 mile (roughly) uphill to work. Sit on scoobynet all day, 1 mile walk downhill, sit on a train and a 2 mile walk home.
I'm knackered just typing it.

Well it goes like this...
I loved the Spec'C
Steve put it up for sale at a crazy price... I put mine up for sale to see how i got on.
Time went buy and Steve fell in love with a noble. Steve lowered the price again
The Spec'C got traded in for the noble but in the week before it went I sold mine
I then got a milion texts telling me to buy the Spec'C but the buyer wasn't picking it up till after Steve had agreed to part exchange it for the Noble. All a matter of a couple of days too late
I still have bruises from where I kick myself.
I think Steve is still crying from the price he gave it away at.
That wonderful chap Moley @ Keith Michaels was VERY accomodating
I now need some time to shop around and find a replacement. Looking at a few '04 STi's and hopefully a JDM model. I'm trying to be sensible and stop my heart from ruling my head but it's difficult when I get hourly updates on new cars from YVM.
The new owner of my car will be coming along to some meets so say hi and be friendly everyone.
Thanks to everyone who has been plagued with car related questions from me recently, the ESC really is the best car club in the world
