I have got a provisional booking for a society day on the 15th March at St Cleres Golf Course, Stanford-le-Hope. We can also do the 22nd if preferred, but it is Easter Saturday

I haven't played there for a while, but it used to be quite reasonable.

It is booked for 11am for 8-12 players (we can add more if interest is high).

Bacon Baguette and coffee at 10am, Tee off from 11am, fish and chips for dinner afterwards. All for £28 per head

I am happy to play the 22nd or the 15th. It is provisionally booked for both days, until Monday when I have to confirm.
Once we have a few more names we can confirm what date suits everyone best. Be a shame for you to miss one though.

Me and one of my mates Simon would like to come if its on the 15th but if its the 22nd it will probably just be me. As most of you know I am not any good at golf but had a great time on the last one so am looking forward to this one

Kev, it is still the 15th at the moment. Most seem happy with that date. I will wait till after the weekend when numbers are settled and confirm on Tuesday.

Price does not include a prize fund........£5 on the day per person seem fair??

Ok, this is booked for the 15th, however, they would like us to have 12 players........anyone else interested. If not, would the 29th suit everyone better to make it up to 12?? Just a thought, but they need to know asap to change the date.

Sorry guys can't do either now the 15th cars going in for new front shocks fialed MOT both leaking. O/S badly and the earlist they can do it is 15th and 29th in Jerez Spain for the Moto GP may be next time would love the chance to not lose the yellow ball again
