24 To 19 > Tiny's 5 Stone challenge !!
24 to 19
Well yes the time has come , I Really feel that i need to shed a few pounds.
I Tipped the Scales @ just over 24 Stone on new years day , Yes im a big lad but 24 Stone i feel is just a little to heavy
Plus i cant keep up with you boys
I Was eating 3 bags of crisps a day , 5 Choccie bars , 3 pints milk with my meals , But it's all stopped now ...
So no crisps , choccie , Donuts , Milk etc ......
Im not joining any clubs or anything , No silly milkshake drinks , Just food that i know is reasonablty good for me , Lodge combos etc ....
I Will weigh myself once a week ( Mon eves ) I Will post my results on here for all to see
Anyway i have a target weight of 19 Stone & i have a target Date 15th August that i would like to achieve my goal
I Have my doubters eh Ed , Who has bet me £100 That i will never reach 19 Stone , So im out to prove a point
Ed will be giving £100 To MENCAP CHARITY ( My nominated charity this year ) When i reach my goal
PLEASE IF YOU ALSO FEEL THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD A LITTLE MORE OF AN INCENTIVE FOR ME THEN ADD YOUR NAME/S BELOW
It would be great for me to raise a few quid & lose a few stone @ the same time
So please wish me luck , It's going to be a battle but im up for it
So ........
Starting weight 1/1/2008 > 24 Stone
1st Weigh in 14/1/2008 23.02 ( Loss 12lb )
Bring it on

Best of luck Tiny.
Might give you a race to 19 stone (I just need to put on about 7lbs and I'll be there )
Stick me down for £20 to Mencap when you reach your target.

Good luck - should you change your screen name to maybe 1/2 Tiny LOL??
I'm sure you can do it and put us down for £5 per stone. Daren once gave up sugar for "lent" and he lost quite a bit of weight - but then he also ate a dodgy curry once and lost about 2 stone in 24 hours! Not ideal, but it worked!!
You can do it

Good luck mate. I went from 21st to 15 1/2 a couple of years back. I ate a full cooked brekkie every day and didn't exercise at all throughout. Ate steaks, chops, full chickens, tonnes of veg and the weight fell off me. As long as I didn't eat more than the tiniest amount of carbohydrate it worked brilliantly. No rice, pasta, bread, potatoes, sweets, beer, root veg etc, but as much as you want of foods loaded in proteins and fat. In truth, once your insulin level stabilizes as your carb intake diminishes, you never feel that hungry and have to remind yourself to eat every four woken hours. Plenty of water to keep the motions moving, and no caffeine and it should work for anyone. My 5 1/2st came off in 5 months, and I kept it off successfully for over 2 years. It's only my own stupidity that's allowed a bit to creep back on, but I'm back on the plan now and already seeing the results. Good luck with your method though

Well Done Mate very impressive already
Put us down for the £5 per stone.
Is this so you don't have to have the bigger Turbo, Intercooler etc.......
5st should equate to about 35HP

No mate joking aside i was eating myself to an early grave , Time for a look @ my lifestyle whilist im still young enough to be able to change it
Not saying im never having a donut / Kebab again , But just this type of food in moderation
Not 2/3 Times a week like it has been
Unsure if you see it the other night , But there was a show on TV (Jamie Oliver ) Titleled "Eating yourself to death iirc ) This had a very large impact on me when they carried out an autopsy on a 25 st man

Ohhhhh - yes yes yes - as they say "this thread is useless without pics"
It seems there are a few peeps on here all saying they are looking at losing weight - Gooner included - maybe you should all do an ESC weight loss programme - Ian could be your coach, along with corradoboy
Good luck to all of you - and well done to those already achieved

I think I read somewhere that out of ALL takeaway food - kebab is the best for you - Chicken Shish I think because its grilled and has LOTS of salad (avoid the sauces though)
Any my mum told me about the Jamie Oliver thing - wish I would've watched it - although i get scared watching things like that - makes me wonder, what I CAN eat safely!!!
