I would never spend 30k on an Impreza again. If I had to spend 30k on a car it would be on a 911.

Was it spent in the wrong areas

22B for me without doubt - then I'd spend 10k on getting it to go and handle aswell as it looked

One minor thing mate, the S204 is a Hawkeye, the S203 was the Blobeye version!

How many aliases will be making this vote slightly biased?

Oops, got carried away mate, the models are just for reference so people have got a general idea of each incarnation.

Makes interesting reading, Hawkeye now creeping ahead!

Classic wagon and lots of mods.. But only if I was given £30'000 to only spend on an impreza. If Given £30k forany car it would not be an impreza for me

Hawkeye for me, maybe a little biased mind.

The model I would choose would be the Hawkeye STI Type 25.

Its a beast!

I would go for a 22B myself, as it does look the daddies with the wide kit and 2 door.

Unless a 2 door hatch comes about eventually, then that woul dbe the only choice for me.

Still voted newage though

I don't even see the point in a 22b for 30k. All you'll have is a car with features which cost horrendous amounts of money to replace if broken or pranged and the performance of a £6k impreza. Granted it'll look nice but most have had (and will need again) £6+ engine rebuilds. I sold mine for my current car and pocketed the £18k difference.

£30k of my money I'd want something different from an Impreza. I'd have a 22b if you gave me one, I certainly wouldn't buy one again for £30k.

The main point of this excercise is to assertain which Impreza is the most popular choice given a £30,000 budget

Might be the main point, but it isn't the only point as I've demonstrated

The Subaru Impreza is just like the Hollywood Movie...The original is always the best and any sequal just never lives up to the first one!!!

If it was good enough for Colin........

Well, it is the only point, if I was interested in what other marque people would buy, then I would of included it in the poll

Well they must of changed it over again today at the show as the one i saw looked the business (but blue is not it's best colour )
I'd say it wasn't smaller inside but then again i suppose it's gonna be a tighter fit for some people
Agree the boot is smaller but that would not bother me, as for the end of the "Impreza" era comment wake up, it's called progress, of course it looks different but it's still a Impreza, lets see what happens when they start winning rallies again how peoples views will change but for now i suppose we can call it the Marmite Impreza....you either love it or hate it
