Default Advice Please.... not car related

Strange one this.....

Been left a lot of LLADRO china figures, Coalport Royal Doulton figiures, Waterford crystal and various china bits tea sets, plates etc....

What the hell do I do with it?

Really not interested in keeping it, anyone know someone that buys this sort of thing?

If not, it's down to Cash Converters lol

you could always take it to Battlesbridge tomorrow, lots of antique collectors and buyers there. Won't get the best prices from the buyers, but someone there will buy it.

Cheers,

just got it all out of the 6 large boxes!!!! There are about 6 crystal decanters....

All very nice, but we really don't have anywhere to put it all and it really doesn't suit "casa de bibo"

Not sure it's worth anything....

Plus the proceeds would have to go to Ian's LCD TV charity first, then ..... who knows? lol

Don't rush into selling these for gawd sakes - you might have some valuable stuff there.

Most Lladro I know of sells for tidy sums and some of it is in the 3-4 figures+ level.

Do some research first, otherwise you could catch a cold on the prices you get.

Bibo, as said above, Lladro pottery, particularly the glazed figurines are still sought after, as most Lladro pottery on sale now is in fact Tao (which is also produced by Lladro, but on a higher volume and cheaper retail price.

I would stash some of it away and fleabay some "sets" if you have them.

i'm personally not a fan of "dust collectors" (other than RC ones, of course!!)
but there are plenty of people who are!!!

good luck

This is a trip down memory lane as I have a Bunnykins cup & side plate that I had as a kid in the early 50's. The mug has a ice cream cart with rabbits licking ice creams on one side & a hiker rabbit with an ice cream on the other. The plate has a rabbit in a blue dress with a load of balloons on strings & a big wicker basket of fruit. They don't make em like that anymore.
