Default Big thanks to Grove Garage (Hornchurch)

Phoned Mark up down there after being recommended by Frayz and he worked his Ford magic on the old XR2

I now have a reliable daily runner, which, dare i say it, is more enjoyable than the scoob right now

They generally work on Cossies, RS Turbos etc, but he was happy to tinker about with the old jallopy, set the carbs up and retime it for £20.00

Bumped into an Ex-Scooby owner there ( a friend of Mr Bush lol) and another mechanic there drives an immaculate red classic!!! - dont think the cruise thing is his scene, but i invited him along to a meet anyway!!!

another hidden Essex gem and for all you Ford lovers - highly recommended.

Since coming back this morning, the car has now got new fuel lines (installed by me!!!) - smokers keep away!!! and he's had the full bufty treatment ready for his blat to Luton tomorrow!!!!

Its made my day seeing him back on the road (without cutting out every 5 minutes)

look out for him at a meet soon!!!

gotta love xr2s. i miss my old one. exhaust was about as loud as the spec c! straight through pretty much. just one small rear box about the size of a small tin of paint. i've often thought about getting one as a toy. have got a 1.8 zetec bottom end and a chv turbo head in my shed
