Silicone sealant remover ?????
Guys,
What can I use to get rid of some over zealous masticing on my part
and where can I get it from locally?

Depends what it's stuck to mate.
If we are talking tiles or glass, Scraping with a sharp blade(when completely dry) is usually best.
If it's on a porous surface you could be bu99ered Dont know of any solvents, personally, but there must be something out there.

for bathrooms, etc I would use a proprietry 'Silcone Eater' such as those in the the link below. I am sure you could get a version of this from the B&Q around the corner from you.

But please, please test it on a piece of dash that does not show, as I do not know how safe these would be on that. (I assume this is for the black silicone around the gauge pod )
Once you have removed the old silicone, if want it done again neatly just let me know

yes it is for the pod there is none on the dash just on the pod itself, and I will take you up on doing it neatly for me if you don't mind
