ESC charity football match????
After the great success of the ESC sports feast on sunday, i have been thinking.....how about an ESC charity footy match to raise money for the air ambulance???
if there is enough people interested i will look into booking a pitch, etc will probably have to be a week night though.
we can then charge people to come and watch and put on a raffle/auction.
what do you think??
cheers

someone prepare a flyer and i'll get it put up on my site. if others with websites can do the same that'd be a start to getting people to come and watch. if we mention it to a sports centre and can get some publicity we should get the pitch for free, maybe even a donation to the EAA.

if we cant get enough ESC players for 2 teams then i will look at inviting another team along to take on an ESC XI.

i've had an idea to add to the footy match. while we're raising money, how about an auction for a detail from Horizon Detailing? all proceeds go to the EAA. we can get the people watching to bid. should be a bit of fun. perhaps open it up to the sidc forum and snet forum as well?
all i ask for in return is that the winner supplies me with tea and coffee during the day
