ditch the boot lid and get a carbon fibre jobbie, or GRP at least to shed a lot of weight

want to use that compounding pad that i've got? or should i say scouring pad!
used a softer one today and it worked really well. 635 csl to do tomorrow
full correction!

What do you guys do about all the holes if you went wingless?
My boot lids of a type-r, and there is loads of holes.

i'll be covering them with fibreglass from the inside and then a small amount of filler on the outside. sand it down, get some paint mixed up to match spray, wetsand, lacquer, wetsand and buff up. job done

or should i just save up and get a carbon bonnet and boot. get the roof wrapped in carbon film? to much contrast because the car's red?

If youre going carbon, you'll have to go with a proper pre preg item at about £2500 for a bonnet. Only this will be lighter than your stock RA one.
Cheap carbon bonnts weigh a ton
