Default Help please !!!

My 'check engine' lights keeps coming on when im in 5th gear at high revs.

I have a 94 wrx estate with a few mods;

Ninja Full Decat System
STI Stainless Exhaust Manifold
STI Top Mount Intercooler
Dump Valve
Boost Controller
Induction Kit

Any ideas will be a gr8 help

Id stay off boost and take it to someone that knows, could be anything but i wouldnt drive it in that state thats for sure.

Have you never come across this problem before and have absolute no ideas what might be causing it ???

My Scooby runs fine if i dnt push it, and even when the light comes on it seems to b no diff.

Very wierd i must say, i fink ill just get sum1 to check it out as you say.

Sounds like you've got a boost leak, check the small bore hoses from the turbo and boost solenoid, I had this on my Scoob and one of the hoses had a small split, so replaced it with a silicone hose

Engine checklight can be anyone of the many engine sensors detecting an issue

like Frayz said I'd get it to someone who can check it out properly
