i agree, but you won't be able to keep the polished lip unless you want to spen over 300 quid mate 
personally i would keep the gold and try and get someone to refurbish the lip and respray a metallic silver or something similar .

just took the wheels to be looked at for refurb - and apparently, all the little studs are plastic !!!! So not as straight forward as originally thought.

they pull out mate.....i got intouch with bk racing and they quoted me £20 for a full set.....or they can be cleaned and sprayed over.
