Leather Steering wheel re-covering?
Hello.....
Just wondered, I have a brand new small Momo steering wheel that was fitting to my Type R when I purchased it......
I'm not too keen on these as i do not like tiny wheels so I was going to swap it for an old STI Nardi wheel I'd acquired, but the leather is poo.....
Anyone know somewhere reasonable I can get it re-covered?
Ta

Ive had 2 done by a guy called Richard up north. He's a Porsche trimmer
Call him on 07771921692.

This was the first one he done for me in Porsche leather, the 2nd one he done was identical but in suede for me to use on track

Nice guy, cheers Frayz....
Just need to compare prices as the old STI wheel I have is nothing special, it's just I can't stand the Momo one..... (would be ok if it was a simple plain black one, not the "ricey" type!)
May be cheaper to buy a new one.....?
Thanks though

Try Bernard Newbury he is in Leigh-on-sea and an absolute legend in the VW world
PMSL @ this,
Ive known Berny Newbery Smith since i was a tot lol. Grew up waterski racing around him.
Awesome job but will charge the earth for it lol.
As for the STi7 wheel i guess it would have to be about £100 with the airbag.
Airbags are expensive mate.
