Where can i get some "threaded bar"
I need to attach an engine to a stand and have been told i need this to do it with.
Am at a loss as to where to even start looking.
Also how do i know what size to get?
Any tips/sudgestions.

Homebase do some threaded bars, not sure is the do a selection of sizes though. down with the screws, if I remember rightly

any good ironmonger will do it, some of the big DIY superstores sell them in lengths too

got some, £2 a meter so result.
Engine all nicely bolted to its stand now

Any nuts and bolts of any description. including rods. Cookes next to chadwell heath station. Right on yer door step me old fruit..
