Nearly bought my first scoob there, but was put off by the owner casually mentioning that his sons have the performance cars for a month or two as their cars before they are put on the forecourt? I didn't like the sound of that, but he obviously did not think it a bad thing or he would not have mentioned it.
Also like most dealers, they continually have a dent / smart repair man parked out side.

The owner of Central of Leigh (IIRC) , his son used to work at ScoobySport (stuart), and did know his way around a scooby engine.
I know of 2 Scoobies bought from there about 9-12 months ago, neither have had problems, and one of those people, you wouldn;t let drive your car .
I wouldn't hesitate buying from there ....... Saying that, there is always a first time that problems may occur.
Have you been looking at the rally stickered bugeye they have on their forecourt ?

I have bought 2 cars from there. gary (the owner) had one of the first P1's around while lee (his son) had the TERZO.. My first scoob was one of the cars as they did a great trade in...
I would defo use them again... If they had a T350

Thanks guys, looks like a trip down the 127 later then.
Nate, yes it is the stickered up one that caught my eye, although stickers would have to go instantly

i saw that one today at £12.995 very nice car mate
just make sure you have a chat about after sales before you buy it mate....a burgandy scooby was bought from him last year and it had faults with it that the owner didn't know about until he bought it, and Central didn't want to know.
Only going by what a fellow scooby owner said to me who bought the car from Central

1 of my mates was interested in a blobeye Sti they had about a year ago. He had a brief look 1 day and noticed a dent in the rear door. When he went back the next day the dent was gone! He said when he questioned the rear door the guys attitude stunk .....so he walked. Then went over to essex ford and bought a 350Z that they had.

most cars have dents of all kinds. The policy @ central is defo NO accident damaged (altho not always possible im sure) and used to be NO imports also. My classic had a dent in the boot which they left until i bought the car, then it was removed before i collected... But as said all car dealers get good/bad cars. its a fact of life.
