Thought i would see how much Shain would be on my car (Escort Cab 1800cc 1997 P reg) if it was just in his name with me as named driver and it was £4013 3rd party and no protection. Sat with my mouth open for a while in shock lol.

And a silly little Fiesta 1.1 was £2400.
Glad he has a year to go yet. he better put in some over time at the shop he works at lol. he wasnt impressed when i told him the he would be getting a nissan micra and that was 1000cc m reg £1960.

That is why so many youngsters ended up with Citroen Saxo's a little while ago, because Citroen were giving FREE insurance with the cars, and at the cost of around 6K for a new car, you are getting the car for 2K and the insurance for 4K.
Might be worth considering ?
