Default Possible STi Version 8 steering wheel swap anyone????

Hey chaps..

Weird one this, but bear with me

Does anyone with an STi 8 steering wheel want to swap with mine and some cash my way?

Im not talking airbags etc just a straight swap for the wheel body. My wheel as you all know has only done approx 1000 miles. It has been professionally trimmed in red/Black Porsche leather with red stitching.

This wheel cost me £250 plus trimming.

I have a new plan

Here it is fitted

Just bumping this to see if anyone wants to swap or buy this wheel.

I have a perverted idea of having 2 wheels, one summer, one winter. Both trimmed exactly the same except one will be suede and one would be leather.

Only trouble with a suede one is you have to drive wearing gloves... else the suede will shine.

I always wanted my wheel suede trimmed but i got put off it and persueded to have it leather trimmed due to the fact that id have to wear gloves to drive the car.

Well i love my wheel and the way it came out but im still hankering after a suede one. So ive since bought another wheel to have suede trimmed identical to my leather one, red centreband and red stitching but in suede.

So gloves it is.

My mate had a racing puma with an alcantara steering wheel!

Don't know what colours it comes in though.

Alcantara's nice but its a bit too stretchy and so can end up having too much "give" and can twist and sag.

Suede is much grippier and harder wearing imo mate.
