Thats f**king terrible.
I must admit never keen on the RAC/AA if you break down at night time cos they never seem to send one their own patrols it's always a sub contractor but during the day have never had a problem with them.

Please remember i broke down on the M25 @ 5pm one day with both kids in car, i was stranded between A13 = A127 heading towards Dartford.

I was a PRIORATY CASE as i had 2 kids under 4years & was on the Motorway.
1 + half hours later a man came, with lowloader, & the Motorway Parol/assidents people,
who took number plate down & drove off!!

the Recovery man i was pleased to see.
He took me THURROCK SERVICES dropped me off & F**ked OFF.
10.30pm another LOW LOADER turned up (after constant phoning from the Wife & Me) & took me Home.

THIS WAS AA & i was A PRIORITY

Like i said..................4th emergency service!

This is from there web page!

What a load of B*ll*cks!

The AA is the UK's No.1 breakdown provider*

As the UK's largest breakdown organisation, we fix more breakdowns by the roadside than anyone else.

No one has as many dedicated patrols.

The AA Members Club could save you an amount equal to or more than the cost of your membership – AA Members Club, now the nation's biggest membership organisation.

95% of our members would recommend us to a friend. Will you be?

No charge for labour at the roadside, no matter how long this takes. Like 5 1/2hrs!

On average we arrive in around 40 minutes of your call.

Can you really class Cookie as "average" though!!!!!!

That is a bummer, Cookie! I think the longest I ever waited for was about 2hrs, at 9.30pm, on my own, on a slip road off the M11 after a drive shaft detached its self!!!!! That was awful.....and wasn't an "RAC" guy but a contractor which I wasn't pleased about!

i've worked for a recovery company's
They say that anybody with children or lone females have priority but its bo**ocks.
They give you a 1hr ETA that really means get there when they get there

i have never been so embarsed but one time i was 2hrs late to a breakdown and the company i worked for was called " ON TIME "
