New Camera A13
Not sure if anyone has posted this up yet, but there is a new camera on the A13 london bound as you approach Dagenham. It is just before the Ship and Shovel pub traffic lights. They put it up over the xmas weekend!! It doesn't really affect me as we go through there about 6.15am and we are lucky to be doing 5mph let alone 40! but there may be a few of you who go through there during the day when the traffic is better.

The camera is about 100yards in front of the Texaco garage. The set of lights are just before it goes to 2 lanes and over the flyover, the pub is set back off the road and opposite the 3 lego block flats. I can't see how it is an accident blackspot though, it is pretty much at stationary there all day!

Yeah noticed this a couple of weeks ago, there are the lines in the road from an old camera and the new camera is just after that!
I go past this on me way to work and the amount of people who slow down for the 1st lines and speed up as they go past the camera.............. very sneeeeeeeeeky!

Found out why this camera is there now... 6am this morning im sitting in the traffic not really moving (maybe 10mph) an IDIOT decides to cross the road between a few cars.... Trouble is it was only 2 lanes staionary ish, the inside lane was moving still.... yep you pretty much guessed it... Luckily he never got hit totally but he did run straight in the side of a new fiesta ST.... He was ok to walk but had certainly hurt his arm. TBH the fiesta was probably doing around 30mph so not speeding at all...
