Im New!!...........And I dont drive a scooby
Hi Just thought I'd introduce myself. Im Si, and as the title states I dont currently drive a Scooby (although that may well change soon). Ive seen a few members around now and I know EmEm. I drive a black corsa sri (its had a few mods done) which you may have seen up southend or basildon (usually stuck to the back bumper of a Scooby ). If you see me out and about give me a shout and im allways up for a little play with Scooby owners!

What have you had done to the car???
TBH a standard scoob is 212bhp and with an exhaust etc is circa 250bhp so any lightened corsa or the such with a 2 litre engine is likely to be able to keep up easily.

think I've seen you around.
Clio 172/182 keep up with standard scoobs easily so I would imagine you'd keep up and maybe even cause a standard car to move over if you have more momentum.
Scoobs aren't that fast dude ... their owners just think they are

The owners just love the sound and the fun they have in them!!
And of course the good ESC spirit (and I don't mean the one you buy in a bottle from Tesco's)

1. Not that many standard cars on this forum
2. What would you put your money on in this weather?
Me pulling away on a damp geasy roundabout or a corsa?
Back on track, welcome to the madhouse. Follow Em's lead and get a scooby as soon as you can

As far as what mine has had done, well at 9 psi im running around 250bhp at the mo, although its off for some more work next month.
I was going to get a scoob as a company car as I think they sound gorgeous, the only thing that stopped me was the fuel consumption with all the driving i do.

250bhp. would beet my scooby as it has the same power but weighs a fair bit more than a corsa even though it's a jdm classic.

Get some pics up mate.. sounds interesting
I only started modding my corsa in August (was a standard 1.8 sri) so hardly know anyone at all. Im a member of Corsa-c.co.uk, thats how i know Em (through Mia her m8).
I'll def sort some pics out this weekend; although it should look rather more interesting at the end of november (and go somewhat better!)

Sounds good mate, only i had a little dust up with the orange one above, fully stripped out running over 300bhp calibra turbo engine.. he was only about 8 or so car lengths behind me @150mph and i had to pull 160+ to pull away....
Very very quick little car.. i was well impressed.
Looking forward to seeing it mate... get some pics up and maybe get to a local meet to embarrass a few scoobs lol

I almost made the mistake of sticking a Calibra 2ltr turbo lump in a corsa once....
Luckly my mates knocked sense in me and said, "Why spend that kind of wonga on a project like that, when you could sell it and put the money to something better and start from there...."
Each to their own though......
Welcome and I play......

Was going to buy a Cerbera before i started modding the corsa but was put off by £1600 a year for warranty and £800 service costs!
