Since driving the golf its made me realise 2 things.
1) 4wd is a MUST for our climate and road conditions, it's amazing on our wet roads, with 0 wheel spin, feels much more planted than RWD. Granted RWD is more fun, but for a road car I prefer safe.
2) A car that does not attract attention is much more usable, I've been taking the R32 everywhere, and its so nice to feel safe about parking it places. No constant worry.
So I needed a German 4wd car, that doesn't attact attention, and is high enough I can park it in multi story car parks.

You got me, a new gun metal grey RS4, fully loaded.
OK not as fast as some of my other cars, but I'm hoping this one MIGHT tick all the boxes....

I'm not so bothered about 0-100 times anymore, I need a car that I can live with.
