Default which oil

As title what is the best oil to buy for my CAR??

i think its about time i went out and got some,
& im asking the advice of Fellow SUBARU Drivers.

i only use silkolene 10w 50 pro s. recommend to be by many subaru owners, xtreme scoobies and oilman.

I hear Dazza's got 4 litres of oil in his boot going to the highest bidder................only thing is you have to clean it off his carpet to get it

get mine through opie oils or look out for posts by oilman on here. think i paid about the £40 mark (for 4.5 litres) including a filter (but wasn't a genuine subaru one) and inc delivery.

mocom's is a good offer as well though. 6 litres, so plenty for topping up if you need it, a genuine subaru filter and the sump washer for £66 delivered. sounds good to me.

imo you should really find out what's in it already. iirc, it's not advisable to mix semi synthetic with fully synthetic.

Might be worth you checking your local Halfords - I bought 5ltrs of 10-50 fully synthetic 'own make' for under £20 just before the Monkeyworld trip - it was up at half price otherwise I would have left it, but at that price how could I resist!
