Sorry to bump an old thread, but I figure it is better than starting a new one!
I saw a recent fifth gear episode which reviewed the new Type 25. I was simply blown away by the some of the expertise involved in building the car, and of course the performance stats. I was disappointed that there was no real comparison to see if your £40k/£45k is worth spending on such a car. I figure the old FQ400 would be the closest contender on most levels, but you can't get them anymore. This is a one of custom job though, with the performance of a 997 turbo?, F430 and a Gallardo and the price tag of a Cayman. I guess the RS4 cannot be ignored, and the extra £5k up front will soon redeem itself on residuals I am sure.
It is aimed at a certain type of buyer. A hard core Subaru lover, a wealthy chap with a list of cars parked up with a wanting a weekend toy or a lotto winner?
I know I would, it has a few tricks up it’s sleeve so it gets the thumbs up from me, but only as a Lottery winner, as and when that happens!
Anyone driven/own one yet?
