Wicked shot Dave.

Although I have got this mental image of your Missus balanced on the bumper clinging on with one hand with camera in the other.

I think it is kinda cool how did you trigger the camera was it on timer, and what settings did you use to keep so much of the car in focus?

Lol, that was my first thought , still pretty brave to totally rely on mount outside the car. Another top pic, though still prefer the windscreen mount 'speed' pic

Cheers for the comments guys.

Yes, used the self timer, do have a remote release but forgot to take it with me but the self timer worked pretty well.

Settings were 1 second exposure at F5.6. Used an ultra wide 10mm lens to get most of the car in shot and when working with very wide angles the depth of field is quite large.

Brave or stupid Used my backup DSLR just in case but the suction pod works pretty well and I checked it's adhesion regularly.

That's the trick with this one, was doing about 10 mph, hence the relitively slow shutter speed....

I think it looks cool! If you look quickly, the scoop looks like the front of a Charger or something??? If you get what I mean.....even I have trouble???

Looks wicked Dave!!!
