Default Car storage

Does anyone know where I can safely store my scoob (garaged)?

my plan is to finish the scoob, ie stereo system, engine and remap and to put on the new mod then have it stored safely so it'll come out for shows and when I want to have a play.

Get another car or pickup truck as a runabout to be used and abused instead.

And finally finish the kit car

Not too far...well depending on you really? Do you know Hullbridge? It is a bit of a drive, but units are pretty good, and I think cheap, and they are out of view from the public!!
They are on private land, and about 10 of them, all ranging in size. Not sure how many are left, but could find out if your interested?
Some of them are perfect to store cars etc, and have plenty of room to work on them too!!!
Let me know if its any good!?

Just seen your note on the side....wheres the piccy to prove your the original MIAT????

as long as the units are very secure, that'll be good, Betts lives that way and his dad lives in Hullbridge, so could always pop in for a coffee

Love the pics!!!! Where did you get that handbag??!!!!!

Yes, they are secure...OH wouldn't leave all his plant there if they weren't!!! Its obviously up to the rentee to supply their unit with locks etc, but the owner lives next door, with guard dogs, and its fitted with security lighting etc, and a gate at the top of the drive!! I didn't even know it exsisted til OH rented a unit down there!

They're ideal to use if you have a car in "working progress"!!
I'll speak to Taz tonight when I see him, and see if there are any for rent. He pays about £200 a month, but his unit is MAAHOOSIVE and could probably fit about 5+ scoobys in there, so a smaller one shouldn't be too dear??

I'll let you know the details.....

Hi m8 it may be a little to far for you but I have my old VW Beeyle in storage in a container in Wakering (Near Southend) very secure as it is in a boat yard behind locked gates with guard dogs out in the sticks, and the owners live on site.
The container is 40ft long so you could fit a couple of scoobs if you needed mine has my Beetle and my dads old Granada in their @ the moment otherwise I would offer to split it with you but their is now power in the container but their is close by. I am paying £150 per quarter.

If this is any help let me know

Chris
