There's only 2 holes for mudflaps on the back, as you've already mentioned, you can drill another hole, but I wouldn't. I've had 2 sets of mudflaps on my car and only used 2 bolts on the rear, and never had a problem apart from kerbs

Cornelius hunny maybe you should forget the mudflaps and buy some inflatable bumpers for it instead lol xxxxx

thanks for the advice guys, think i may have to get the trusty hacksaw blade out and get nasty seeing as im discarding the bolt anyway.

frayz - would take some shots but its in an awkward place to get anything worth looking at. the bolt holds the skirting to the rear bumper and has some japanese puzzle thing on the back that just spins and spins when you turn the bolt. so frustrating cos once the bolt is off its a 2 minute job!

I think the bolt you are talking about is an 8mm with a spire clip on the inside of the bumper . try looking underneath and you may be able to hold the back with a pair of mole grips or pliers .
