Default ESC Nitro racing!!

John1uk and I were talking the other night, and we thought it would be a good crack to get together a little meet for radio control nitro cars.

Venue to be arranged!

Who's up for a laugh

1. John1uk
2. Cornelius - Thunder Tiger 15cc monster truck
3. Sir Fozzalot

Ahhhhhh, I can almost smell the 2 stroke engines screaming away!!

Okay lets go racing

I run an ex works Losi XXXS Graphite Plus, 1:10 touring car. This car was previously owned and built by Team Helgers very own, and good mate of mine, Andy Thompson.

Almost everything on the car is carbon or titanium inc every screw.
The car is shown setup for stock class indoor on minipins. The motor isnt branded as it was custom built by andy but started life and a Trinity Monster Pro. My handset is KO Propo Vantage II Type R inc the micro receiver, although i do not use it, it has ABS, Traction control and lauch control programs
The ESC (ecectronic speed control ) is a Vega Factory, currently the smallest unlimited ESC available.

I mainly race in Stock class, but also run outdoors on tarmac in 19 turn spec.

The body is a Protoform Dodge Stratus painted by my good self.

Enjoy...

The cossie is just there for you guys to envy .. PMSL

You should know me by now mate,

All in i wince when i think of what RC racing has cost me

Replacing this little lot and 90% of it you cant see would probably set me back about 4 to 5K

All good fun though innit

Since buying my scoob i havent raced much, i really need to get back on track as i know i would be really really rusty.

I dont think it would take much track time to get competitive again but im more interested in getting the scoob the way i want it at the moment

Mine isn't an offroader either. It's a rally scoob.

Haven't got any pics of mine but this is the same make:

I have only used it two or 3 times and each time I only managed about 5-10 mins before something went wrong so it probably isn't set-up right and I am a complete novice at driving it.

Would love to get together with someone who nows how to set them up right so I could use it more.

I have got a Tamiya Nissan Skyline somewhere as well(Battery operated). Enjoyed building it more than using it....once again, only got used a handful of times. Got stripped and rebuilt numerous times when I was bored though.
