Whatever happened to a night out without a row on the Seafront?
It would appear that stabbings are ocurring all to often these days.

Sod living in Essex just because it has the best Scooby Scene.
Way and quaility of life would be much better, safer etc.
As for work, there must be something...
I went to Westcliff few months back, it was like being in a run down slum.
England has some lovely areas, Essex is going downhill fast.
Way and quaility of life would be much better, safer etc.

One place I will definately steer clear of is Koblenz in Germany, I have had really bad experiences there before, and from what I have heard, it just gets worse and worse ....... Some have said it is even worse than The Bronx !!!!
Essex is the place to be , easy commute to the City, and plenty of work, add to that the cost of property, I bet a lot of the properties in Lake District/Cotswolds/New Forest are not far off the price of the average property in Essex .

me and gangsta go out in southend quite regularly for a drink and i suppose we have been lucky not to be involved in any unpleasantness but there are people that do draw trouble towards there self's.
thing is one incident and people think the worst and people love an excuse to rubbish essex, think it coz there lives are so boring they have to invent things to do, like twist the knife ..... ( ooh sorry )
they should just live somewhere more interesting, i wonder where they could move

Doesnt matter where you live, trouble can be anywhere.
Just outside my work a couple of years ago a man was executed with an AK47 assault rifle, this is in a leafy area of hertfordshire.

Gangsta and I were down the seafront about 4-5 years ago, when a guy was stabbed and killed, we were standing in a group only about 40 feet away when it happened 
, but we didn't see or hear anything unfortunately, but we were caught on CCTV, and we were all questioned.

Its sickening to think that a good night out can be ended in such a hidious way!! I agree this sort of thing is happening all to offten, but to say that essex is bad place to live is untrue, this sort of thing can happen anywhere at anytime!! Believe me i now!!! I love essex, and wouldnt live anywhere else!!!

Southend is that bad when it comes to murders (hence the front page story), although there is a high level of violent crime.
Most murders in London pretty much go unreported, even when they do it it's normally on page 23 between the advert for latest DFS sale and a skateboarding dog.

have had 2 shootings, 4 stabbings, 1 bank raid FOILED, (with armed police), SCHOOL mass fight with KNIVES,SWORDS, B.BATS,CLUBS etc... in SIDCUP this year have you heard any of that on telly/radio???

I dropped my brother off at The Chinnery's on the seafront Friday night shortly before that all kicked off. It sickens me to think that something could have happened to him.
I hardly go out in Southend of an evening at all now, I'd rather avoid it!
