As always at the NBO Headquarters we are always thinking up new ways to improve and keep fresh the NBO concept and after deciding on a new layout of the field and more Club stands we decided the Car of the Day was in need of an update so we got the professional in to help us


Craig Mudd (Muddy ) of the SIDC fame has been recruited to help us with another first for the NBO 4 without his <vision> we coulnt of gone this far so this is the plan but it would only suceed if you all get behind the concept and actually enter it !!!!!

The NBO committee are pleased to announce an extra special surprise at this years NBO:
An SIDC Show and Shine competition.


And unlike all other previous SIDC show and shines this one will have a little twist.

It will have its own drive-in Arena so all the public can view your car being judged.

The format will entail an Arena in the centre of the show which will allow approx 20 cars to be judged. As we have different categories it will hopefully
encourage those attending the show to drive into the arena and participate in a bit of “Show and Shining”.

There will be 5 Categories which will be sponsored:

Best Classic Impreza ----- SPONSORED BY TBC

Best Classic Modified Impreza ----- SPONSORED BY TBC

Best Newage Impreza ----- SPONSORED BY TBC

Best Newage Modified Impreza ----- SPONSORED BY TBC

Best Limited Edition --- SPONSORED BY REVOLUTION MOTORSTORE.


And a Sixth Trophy for:

Best of Show --- SPONSORED BY REVOLUTION MOTORSTORE


How it will Work

You need to decide which category you would like to enter (You can enter more than one if you like). When the appropriate time comes and when prompted by
the NBO PA system you drive your car into the arena. And park up where instructed.
Next you exit your car whilst remaining with it and allow the judges to walk around and judge it.

The judges will then announce 1st and 2nd place.

2nd place will receive an SIDC show and shine Certificate and the winner will receive a very nice trophy.

1st and 2nd Place’s will then be asked to return for the grand Finale --- Best of Show.

Who will judge?

Sponsors of each category/trophy will be encouraged to judge the cars.
Also members of the NBO committee will help with the judging of the categories.


Deciphering the Categories?

There may be some confusion about what kind of car can submit in each category so to help:

Best Classic Impreza and the Best New Age Impreza Category…

It is encouraged that these are near standard examples. However, we recognise that “MOST” cars have had some cosmetic modifications…
So cars with NO more than a change of alloy wheel, a different exhaust back box and a different rear spoiler can enter the Classic Impreza OR New Age
Impreza categories. Judges discretion is final.

If you are deemed to have more “Modifications” than this, then you will be encouraged to enter into the --- Modified categories.

Best Classic and New Age Modified Category…..

As it says in the title, modified Impreza’s accepted.


The Limited edition category……
Is to encourage the “special” cars in our community to enter. So for example… Terzo, RB5, P1, WR1, 22B, S202.etc

11:30 – 12:05 Best Classic Impreza

12:10 – 12:45 Best Classic Modified Impreza

12:50 – 13:25 Best New Age Impreza

13:30 – 14:05 Best New Age Modified Impreza

14:10 – 14:45 Best Limited Edition -- Sponsored By Revolution

14:50 – 15:25 Best of Show -- Sponsored By Revolution
