My Scooby's not well
My Scooby seems to have a cold. Dad picked me up from the station in it last night and said that "it's running like a dog. Spluttering one minute then flying the next".
Hope it's not going to be too expensive. All booked into Xtreme next saturday for an interim and a checkover.
It's a shame as it was flying the other day when i was on my way home from work. Well it seemed to be fast enough to fly.

But you paid for a whole engine, why don't you use the whole engine? you really are turning into the old man of scoobynet
Do a rolling road, get a print out and when torque starts to drop off, change gear at that point. Usually about 6k.

heard it do that before. when i first got it i took it to xtreme for a diagnostic. wondered what was going on first of all. looking forward to see what bhp it's pushing out though. if all is running well by the rr day i'd be happy with around the 250 bhp mark. would like to think its more, but i have to be realistic.
only a small spec list - 94 wrx, H&S decat open neck downpipe, decat centre section, afterburner rear box, H&S equal length headers, panel filter & bailey bov.
would love to push the power more but the pennies won't allow at the moment. although if it turns out it was some dodgy petrol to blame i could be tempted to change the ecu although knowlsey advised before to watch the power mods to keep reliability up due to the age and mileage of the car. unless, if it needs a rebuild and then i could get a 2.5 conversion. although i'd end up getting divorced if this was the case.
