Has anyone calculated a conversion rate for the clear buckets to the cheaper alternatives ie. 1 clear bucket worth = 1 3/8ths of an orange and 2 classic black buckets.
If your going to use clear buckets as the ESC standard we need a conversion rate for those not willing to pay the extra.

Nice work Baz me ol mucka Nice reflection for silver as its not an easy colour to work with.
I like AG alot, was that just the super resin polish trhat youve used?
Id be inclined to top it with OCW (optimum car wax) for an even deeper, wet look shine.
Job well done

AG is the only other way to go Baz & you have done a good job.
I just use the AG shampoo mixed with rain water in a big butch yellow builders bucket, all wiped down with a micro fibre cloth.
Then the whole car is stroked & whispered to lovingly for ten to fifteen minutes before putting it away.
Well it works for me.

Tap water contains (remembering from my days at Fisons as a lab tech) :-
Major ions such as sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sulphates, chlorides and hydrogen carbonate. These are usually present in quantities of at least 1 mg/l. They help determine both pH and water hardness.
Key nutrient ions, such as phosphates and nitrate. The concentrations of these are generally lower than those of the major ions and play a major role in algae growth so make sure you don't leave any where you can't dry it off.
Dissolved gases, which include oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Trace ions, such as copper, iron, zinc, fluoride, cobalt and molybdenum.
And to think that's what we drink.
Some areas put more fluoride in than others ~ keeping your gnashers healthy.
"Acid rain" tends to be more of a problem near large industrial areas & where you have high volumes of traffic pumping out pollutants.Recent controls have lessened this to a great extent.Normal rainfall is slightly acidic (pH 5.6, where 7.0 is neutral). This is because carbon dioxide dissolves in water to form carbonic acid. Rainfall with a pH of less than 5.6 is called acid rain.
And by way of warning don't spill Coke in or on your car as it has a pH of 4.0.It is good for cleaning up old pennies though.
