Semi Success For TopTogs
Ok, following the good advice i've been given form fellow ESC members, i set to work trying to remove the vinyls from my new motor.
And seeing as it WAS sunny this morning, it seemed like a good idea.
Below are the before and afters.
I decided to leave the graphic on the back as i quite like it.
AND NOW THE BAD NEWS!!!!! After 100% success rate, disaster struck!!!
A small area of paint was removed! Eeeek. Any ideas how to protect this until i get it sorted, and also, anywhere near southend that can take care of this at a decent price???
I'm left with a lot of glue on the paintwork still, best way to get this off?????
As always, all comments welcome. And soz for the various pic sizes.
Thanks!

you can use petrol to clean off the residue (but you must polish the car afterwards), or I used Meguiars tar and bug remover, wash the car thoroughly first, spray on the meguiars, and rub off with a clean cloth, when it's all done, wash the car thoroughly again, and it's polish time, use a polish with a slight cut in it to bring out the colour.
The resident ESC Bufty boy Frayz should be along sometime to give you tips on looking after the paintwork

Id use some Autogylm Tar: glue remover to remove any marks left by the stickers.
Id get yourself a paint sealant such as Poorboys EX-P to protect the paint, but you should really get the damaged area sorted (another vote for ABW) then ill give you the lowdown on getting it super bufty
