ESC Karting @ Lakeside 21/1/06 (Part deux)
Ok, went to Lakeside this morning and this is what they can offer:
1 hour endurance in the morning (10AM meet), £90 per team (2-3 in a team + £2 insurance)
1.5 hour endurance in the morning (9.30AM meet) £ 135 per team (2-4 in a team + £2 insurance)
1.5 hour endurance in the morning (2PM meet) Price as above
At the moment they have no one booked for the morning races and are happy to open up for us as long as we can supply good numbers (14 or more). Therefore there is still a chance that we could POSSIBLY have the track to themselves.
They have already started taking bookings for the PM race.
It basically works out £47 per driver if we have two to a kart in the hour long race and the same for three in a kart in a 1.5 hour race.
Below is the list taken from the other thread. Please let me know if you are still interested. I will be taking deposits at the Halfway House meet if we can agree
Personally, I think the 1.5 hour, AM race sounds good

Either is good with me, although how are we deciding the teams?
Are we doing practice laps, with the fastest and slowest being teamed up, or are we just picking mates?

The chances are they'll probably get more people to join in between now and then for the morning race.
Hope that makes sense

Id still be in, if the cost is an issue maybe we should look at Rayleigh again, not as good but would still be enjoyable, and may mean more people will come. Just a though.

PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL NOT BE HAPPENING
I going to be cancelling this for a few months. The general feeling I get is that we will not be getting sufficent numbers, to attend for various reasons, including, costs, Xmas @ New Year, other ESC events close by and people not being able to make it.
Perhaps in the nicer weather we can do a Thursday night meet at Lakeside (instead of the H/H) and make an evening of it
Sorry to disappoint you all
